Senior Technical Associate, EF Cash & Settlements

European Client Finance is a specialist department within DST, servicing a select few of our clients with their collective funds needs across the globe. We provide multiple services such as accounting, custody, settlement, FX, Treasury reporting, Corporate Events and Payment services, and so there are many exciting opportunities to get involved in a team that will provide a wide range of exposure to global financial operations.


  • Reference salary based on experience

Main Responsibilities

You will provide Technical knowledge and support to ensure the following are completed to a high standard:

  • Commission processing: To ensure monthly & quarterly commissions are processed in an accurate and timely manner, a full audit trail is maintained and all processes are quality checked. (To include Renewal Commission, Initial Commission, Management Fee Rebates).
  • Cash and Settlement processing: On a daily basis, complete daily settlement and cash processing in a timely and accurate manner. Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Investigation and Resolution of Enquiries: to the required standards to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Client Liaison: Communicate with internal and external parties in dealing with queries and open items.
  • Risk: Complete checklists on a timely basis, query unusual items.
  • Escalation of issues to the European Finance Manager: Ensure that all issues are escalated to your line manager.
  • Projects: Support Management with new initiatives and new client planning, testing and conversion
  • Management Cover: To provide cover in the absence of the Team Leader.
  • Staff Development: Support the development of team members, establishing goals through regular 1-2-1's.
  • Staff Planning: Allocate resources to achieve desired goal

Service Delivery

  • To ensure that the defined European Settlements processes are completed on a Daily basis, reviewing MI and trend analysis.


  • SLA's are adhered to.
  • Clearly defined & documented processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Performance KPI targets are met.
  • To comply with all client Money and Financial Crimes Prevention FCA regulations, where applicable.
  • Actively participate in regular 1-2-1.
  • To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills
