Senior Sales Partner

We have an exciting opportunity for a a Senior Sales Partner to build pipeline and sell a range of business solutions including software and services to new customers, primarily in the financial services sector. The role will involve ownership and development of the key relationships within the new accounts on behalf of the SS&C Group and the targets that go with those accounts.

The role has a primarily UK focus but potential for expansion into Europe and Scandinavia. Target clients are TBD, and there will be an opportunity for the selected candidate to identify new targets and utilise existing network to build pipeline.

Accountabilities

To deliver sustainable in year and long term revenue with the required margin, in line with targets.

Be accountable for delivery of an annual revenue target which will be a combination of in year revenue, total contract value and sold margin

For the new target accounts, develop contact database, relationship plans, and account development plans

Work with the SS&C sales team to develop specific campaigns and initiatives targeted at this community with a view to generating new leads and contacts and building relationships

Support proposition development by understanding market demands and the competitive landscape

Report as required on leads and opportunities for the accounts and participate and prepare relevant materials for regular business reviews including qualification reviews

Create stream of well new name qualified pipeline and take responsibility for the process of taking the opportunity through to closure in line with the SS&C sales process and utilizing cross DST resources

Work with various SS&C teams to maximise new account opportunities and ensure the seamless transition of new business to that function

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of solution selling to the Financial Services and other industries
  • Experience of selling application software (and consultancy services)
  • Development of business benefit based propositions for Financial Services with support from the existing accounts and proposition design
  • Experience of selling Business led solutions
  • Experience of selling complex solutions encompassing many different products
  • Needs to have high levels of energy and intensity and be prepared to work in a relatively unsupervised manner so needs to be a 'self-starter' and entrepreneurial
