What you'll do

Working within a Wealth Management and Insurance team, the main purpose of the relationship building role, is to work closely with our client's Senior Stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the administration side of their business, preventing the need for escalation. We like to get it right first time and ensure no time is wasted. By engaging in regular dialogue with the right member of our clients business you can ensure an excellent service is provided in the correct timeframe. As a highly organised person, you'll maintain effective diary management, ensuring you are proactive in maintain contact.

Additionally you'll be

  • Committed to putting our client first by demonstrating a 'can do' attitude and providing an excellent customer experience at all times
  • Ensure client engagement and dialogue via telephone, e-meets, zoom & email to provide "bespoke" issue/case resolution to help eradicate any further work being required. (Once safe to do so face to face meetings will be required.)
  • Pre-empt issues and be proactive in ensuring great service.
  • Display exceptional handling and ownership of complex/technical or complaint work, coordinating assistance from key contacts in processing areas. Monitor progress and undertake preventative measures as appropriate.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the front-line to better support your client.

The skills you'll need

In this role, you'll need to have the ability and experience to deliver exceptional service to our client. You will have the ability to deliver difficult or technical messages, but still ensure that the relationship maintains strength. You'll also have to be an organised individual with excellent time management skills.

  • Excellent relationship management experience in the financial services industry preferably experience or knowledge of Wealth Management & Insurance
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels
  • Commitment and self-motivation to work within deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Experience of relationships with internal and external clients and their customers
  • Being responsive to client needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Displays flexibility in the role location and time required to go the extra mile to ensure role holder meets the needs of our client's business
  • Experience of working within a regulatory environment


  • Educated to Higher level or equivalent

What else you need to know

Due to coronavirus you will work from home until it is safe to go back in the Craigforth office based in Stirling. There will be an expectation in the future for you to do some face to face meetings, however whilst working from home you will contact our client via telephone, email and zoom.
