Project Support Associate, Distributor Services

To support the project management team in enabling Distributor Services to provide a day 1 service expected by the distributor population following any new data promoted to our core systems.
To support communications with the distributor population to minimise impact from conversion / corporate action activity.
Provision of MI for all elements of Distributor activity and DCS performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • To support the technical / business lead on all distributor migration projects including owning communications, overseeing the data analysis, and understanding the resulting business process.
  • To understand business and technical facts/data to consider impacts on the Distributor Services department and its clients
  • To support change within Distributor Services and externally to the distributors and Mancos as appropriate
  • To communicate effectively to the Distributor Services teams to validate understanding of the impact of any change. Oversee the run book to ensure procedures and training have been considered and are in place where appropriate.
  • To attend meetings on behalf of Distributor Services with both internal and external parties
  • To provide post project implementation support to Distributor Services BAU and Relationship Management.
  • To create and maintain project specific documents used, inclusive of run books and distributed internally where applicable.
  • To provide accurate and timely information to internal and external parties (including clients)
  • To seek and encourage continual improvement to meet or exceed the needs of Distributor Services clients and the department
  • To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed

Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to analyse and appraise work, to identify potential areas of concern that could lead to risk.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and methodical approach
  • Good software skills to include MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel
  • Good Verbal reasoning and numeric skills
  • IOC or equivalent, or commitment to study for IOC or equivalent
