Distributions Senior/Lead Associate

Main Responsibilities

  • Processing dividends/distributions in FAST
  • Completion and checking of rates
  • Completing and reconciliation of payment files for transfer to print and mailing house.
  • Requesting Trustee/Depositary Funding
  • Completion of Managers Report orders
  • Completion of manual Distribution/Dividend payments
  • Archiving
  • Procedures

  • Service Delivery - Ensure that the processing of dividend/distribution payments and its associated functions are carried out in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA), prioritising where necessary.
  • Quality - Ensure that all work is completed accurately, following checklists/procedures at all times. All internal/external queries directed to the team to be answered/redirected within acceptable timeframes. Checklists to be completed fully for all funds allocated.
  • Departmental Communication - Cascade necessary information to team leader, manager and departmental colleagues concerning work in order for processing of distributions and associated tasks to be carried out efficiently and within SLA.
  • Wider Communication - Liaising with other DST departments & external parties to resolve issues in a timely manner while sharing best practice wherever possible.
  • Improvements - suggesting improvements to departmental/team processes when identified during process reviews, ensuring any subsequent implementation is clearly communicated to necessary parties.
  • Department Support - Support department by assisting with queries & referrals.
  • Procedures - Be actively involved in writing of new and reviewing of existing procedures within the team.
  • Additional Responsibilities - Complete any other appropriate ad- hoc tasks as directed by your Team Leader or Manager.

Ideal Candidate

Essential
* IT/Keyboard skills and proficiency in the use of MS Office packages.
* Attention to detail
* Excellent verbal reasoning and numeric skills
* Experience in Financial Services Investment Industry
Desirable
* IOC or equivalent, or commitment to study for IOC or equivalent.
* Detailed knowledge of ISA, Unit Trust, OEIC or Investment Trust administration
* Detailed understanding of FCA regulatory environment
