  • SS&C believes that there is significant opportunity to widen the client base of AWD as the product has undergone significant investment including cloud enablement, and integration to best of breed digital transformation technologies
  • It also has a wider range of products that it is looking to sell that support the AWD solution such as
  • An enterprise digital platform for advisors, investors and policyholders
  • A wealth platform for pensions savings and investments
  • A life and pension policy administration system sold to international and domestic Life companies.

Main Responsibilities

The Business Development Partner will be responsible for executing on sales strategies and managing sales campaigns for products/solutions within the UK from beginning to end with the appropriate partnership within SS&Cs and the product/services owners. Travel is required on a regular basis.

  • Primarily selling business process management solutions ( our AWD technology) and the other products / services listed focused on the needs of asset managers, wealth manager, banks and insurance companies.
  • Create sales opportunities, pipeline and closures within client base/territory and facilitate cross-selling opportunities for existing clients.
  • Solicit and maintain a network of prospects.
  • Understand client needs, strategies and goals in order to recommend and sell appropriate product or professional service solutions to meet client needs.
  • Create sales plans to manage sales goals and achieve targets.
  • Negotiate and close deals that meet client expectations and SS&Cs ability to deliver.
  • This role works and collaborates with a variety of leaders and resources throughout SS&Cs Product, Service Delivery, Relationship Executive and Marketing teams.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven work-related experience
  • Must be self-motivated to deliver results.
  • Experience in B2B selling in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: fin tech, compliance, business workflow processes / operational efficiency/ robotics, data analytics, transfer agency, life and pension or wealth applications
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship, selling and collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
