Summary

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide high quality customer service across a broad range of accounting and fund administration activities. The principal areas of responsibility include valuations, trading and month end reporting. The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the role

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate fund prices are calculated and distributed as per Service Level Agreements with outsourcing clients
  • Ensure Fund Admin system is updated accurately for the calculation of the daily NAV
  • Ensure all client reports are completed and sent as per Service Level Agreements with outsourcing clients
  • Ensuring client specific checklists are completed on schedule
  • Ensure Accounting system is updated accurately for reporting purposes, both policyholder and fund accounting
  • Reconciliation of bank/cash accounts and monitoring of balances
  • Assist in preparation of monthly accounts and reconciliation of balances.
  • Responding to enquiries from the client either by phone, in writing
  • Provision of ad-hoc information to the client or other departments as required
  • Covering staff who are absent

Ideal Candidate

  • Business qualification at degree level or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • 2-3 years fund accounts or life assurance experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Enthusiastic worker keen to progress their career
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
